This is also known as Sour Salt. Citric Acid is normally used in pickling...but I use it as a seasoning or spice. Do you love Salt & Vinegar chips??? Well I do, and if you do, then you are in luck. If you take equal amounts of Salt & Citric Acid and combine them...then you have what they use for Salt & Vinegar chips. To get the best use of this seasoning...you need to use a mortar & pestle to grind down BOTH the Salt & the Citric Acid into a fine powder(it sticks better). I use this mix on popcorn and french fries and when I make homemade chips. Maybe you can think of other uses.
